The appropriate unit at Emory will review the information you provide and decide if further investigation is needed. If they require additional information to address your concern thoroughly, the reviewer may reach out to you. If you choose to remain anonymous, they will contact you through the Trust Line system. If you provided your contact information, they will reach out to you directly.
Reporting in good faith means you believe the information you are providing is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge, even if an investigation ultimately determines that no wrongdoing occurred.
No. Emory is committed to fostering a culture of integrity and encourages individuals to report concerns or suspected violations of Emory policies, the Code of Conduct, or applicable laws without fear of retaliation. Emory strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, raises a concern, reports a suspected violation, or participates in an investigation. Individuals who engage in retaliation may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. However, Emory reserves the right to take appropriate action when an individual knowingly makes false or misleading allegations or statements.
